As a Sign Painter & Fabricator you will be responsible for painting and assembling cool projects. You’ll take paint and fabrication requests, paint, cut, glue, weld, and assemble projects, and receive/deliver/ship finished projects. You’ll also be responsible to assist with other general production needs in the shop and the occasional install.
Current shop needs calls for about 50% of time painting and 50% of time assembling projects.

The Position
We’re looking for a Painter & Fabricator with 1 year minimum automotive paint and assembly experience that is detail-oriented, independent, energetic, reliable, courteous, FUN, and fast.
Hourly rate starts at $20/hour, and starting pay may be more depending on experience and skill.
Current shop needs require an individual with automotive paint experience. Other fabrication skills can be trained over time with the right applicant that is willing to learn.

- Minimum 1 year automotive paint experience.
- Optional: Experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Welding
- Aluminum fab
- Router/Laser cutter
- Cutting and general assembly
- CAD experience
The Responsibilities
- Take paint requests from Lead Fabricator.
- Prep projects and work area for paint.
- Paint sign cabinets, frames, posts, aluminum, steel, acrylics, and PVC.
- Knowledge of Sherwin Williams paint and products.
- Service and clean paint equipment and booth.
- Property safety knowledge and practice of paint and application.
- Create requests for supplies and materials as needed.
- Receive, deliver, and ship materials and finished projects.
- Cut, glue, and assemble projects when not painting.
- Assist with other general production needs when not painting.
